Not surprisingly given the hefty price tag that comes attached to specialty schooling most of the 10,000 to 20,000 children estimated to be enrolled each year are white, middle-to-upper-class-youth whose parents can
afford to spend upwards of $50,000 a year to keep them under lock, key and 24 hour surveillance.
